60 years of furniture of Lepo Product Oy

Lepo was established year 1953. When starting it´s business companys name was Lahden Lepokalusto Oy. At the time the first and most important product of Lepo was a spring mattress that was a highly needed product after the war.

Since year 1958 Lepo has been working with recognised interior architects and since the start of sixties the production has been more and more concentrated on furnishing public interiors. One example from the start of the cooperation with the designers is Moderno collection designed by Yrjö Kukkapuro that is still in production. Moderno had also a significant role in Lepos golden time of export to neighbouring countries and also in cruise ship furnishing.
